In shooting artists, concerts and festivals, I have a dynamic and immersive approach. My work captures the raw energy of live performances while also revealing intimate and behind-the-scenes moments. In my images I am always aiming for a cinematic quality, with a clear focus on storytelling whether it’s an artist in their moment or a crowd completely absorbed in the experience.
I don’t just document a performance, when people see my work I want them to feel like they’re right there in the moment. With the combination of storytelling and atmosphere I want my images to have a strong emotional impact.
My work is mostly shot in black-and-white as it strips away distractions and emphasises emotion, contrast, and texture. Perfect for capturing the vibe and the atmosphere of a live performance.
